How we help
Our office offers a free hearing screening. Full hearing evaluations are 65.00 if your insurance does not cover the exam. Benefits are checked prior to your appointment.

OTC vs Prescription Hearing Aids? Help!
Since the launch of OTC hearing aids, many folks are confused about what to expect, or even what questions to ask!
We proudly offer BOTH OTC and prescription hearing aids.
How do you know what is right for you??
Here are a couple of things to consider:
OTC's are made to be a self service product. This means from start to finish, the set up and maintenance of the hearing devices is all up to you. The initial purchase price can vary on features, style, brand, and functionality. Some of the more advanced models require a smartphone to adjust the volume. It can be a practical solution if you are very tech savvy and self reliant.
Prescription Hearing Aids are devices that are required to be fit by a state licensed hearing professional. This professional will perform otosopy to ensure there is not a wax buildup that needs to be removed. your hearing medical history and prescription drug usage is reviewed. A comprehensive hearing test is performed, and if needed, a referral to an Ear, Nose and Throat Physician will be made to ensure you are an actual hearing aid candidate. If there is no need for a referral, and you are a candidate, then the available, appropriate hearing devices are discussed with you.
These devices are fit with a specific prescription in each ear. Although many devices are smart phone compatible, it is not required. These prescription hearing aids also come with additional in office, in person help. The number of appointments varies by insurance company, or whether you have no insurance coverage at all.
